A Day of Service with Clinton Foundation
While the Clinton Foundation gathered more than 600 CGI U students in Phoenix, Arizona, for a Day of Action on Sunday, other Clinton Foundation staff and former Clinton Foundation interns also organized their own Days of Action to give back to their own communities in Ondo East, Nigeria and New York City.Across the world in Ondo East, Nigeria, former Clinton Foundation intern Adenike Akinsemolu gathered 35 volunteers from the Homaj Secondary School and the Green Microbiology Association, to clean up and educate traders at the Owena Market. Throughout the day, the students cleaned up waste around the market, planted flowers, and educated traders – most of whom are female – on hygiene, recycling, and first aid.
