TODAY'S WORD
Christ is the light of the world, and when light is withdrawn the night comes and at night, no man can work. Remember no man can do anything toward working out his salvation after this life has ended. This why Christ expects every saved youth, to hurry up to do the work of preaching to win sinners to Him.
The night here refers to the end time when Christ will come and take His people home, and then there will be no more preaching. As many who will not work now, it will be too late for them. Have you spoken to that neighbor of yours about Christ? What about your friends and members of your family? It may be too late if u keep quite. Christ expects u to be busy during the day spreading the good news about Christ instead of gossiping and gambling with words. Jesus kept you alive in this world to proclaim the gospel.
TODAY'S PRAYER
Lord, help me to speak about you always.
A GODLY YOUTH.

TODAY'S WORD
Abraham Lincoln in one of his letters to his son's teacher said "in school teach him, it is far honorable to fail than to cheat, try to give him strength not too follow the crowd, when everyone is getting on the bandwagon.... teach him to listen to all men but filter all he hears on a screen of truth and take only the good that comes through."
Abraham Lincoln was right. In these days modern technology; a lot of things are competing for the minds of young people to derail them from God's word. A godly youth must steer clear from every appearance of evil. Do not follow the crowd to sin against God. ( Exodus 32: 2).
TODAY'S PRAYER
God help me never to go with the crowd.
HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“And He said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness…”

TODAY’S WORD
“Not the labour of my hands can fulfill thy law demands”, sang a song writer. Man’s best is reflected and demonstrated best through struggles, labour and ability. But all these cannot meet up in fulfilling the standard and expectation of God. There is no amount of struggle or labour that any man can exert that will make him to overcome sin or conquer the challenges of life. But when you depend on the grace of God, and you trust in His divine power, there is no mountain that you cannot climb, there is no river that you cannot cross and there is no valley that you cannot dare to pass, with the full assurance that ‘’HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT UNTO YOU”
TODAY’S PRAYER
Lord I receive and depend on your abundant grace to face and conquer all the challenges of life.
KEEP THYSELF PURE
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men`s sins: keep thyself pure”.
1 Tim 5:22
TODAY’S WORD
The depraved nature of man has adversely affected the entire world to the point that almost every part and system of the world is corrupt. Despite the pollution and defilement that have pervaded the world, God expects his children to live a holy, pure and undefiled life. The very fact that everybody is corrupt does not give you a free license to be corrupt. You can live your life as a Lilly in the mire. Your garment can be spotless, stainless and sinless, if you can trust the lord and absolutely depend on His grace.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Lord, help me by your grace to keep my garment pure in this polluted and corrupt world.

TODAY’S WORD
A joyful heart makes a joyful life. If a man is always happy and joyful, he is building a foundation for a prolonged life and enjoyable living. A cheerful look makes one approachable an attractive and it may bring favour. But a sorrowful and depressive mood and countenance do more harm than good.
More often than not, the situation and circumstances of life tend to make us sad and sorrowful. But in the midst of all these are good and cheerful is by choice. It is not a function of wealth, riches, success or fortune. All these are good and desirable, but even though you are short of all these, you can still choose to make yourself happy and glad. Always remember that “the joy of the Lord is your strength”
TODAY’S PRAYER
Lord, always fill my heart with joy and gladness and let your joy at all time be my strength.
